Since its foundation in 1926, the Department
of Physics at Tsinghua University, led by Professor Qi-sun Ye, has
earned reputation as one of best Physics Departments in China. During
the World War II, it was forced to move from Beijing to Kunming, Yunnan
Province. Great efforts have been made since then, and now it has
become one of the most important research centers and cultivating
bases for physicists in China. |
