Teaching
Graduate Course: Theory of Local Electron in Solid and Related Calculation Method.

(1987 summer, about 40 class hours in Central Iron and Steel Research Institute)

Interests
Research is mainly in computational condensed matter physics and computational material physics.

1. Electronic structure of defects and dynamics simulation

a) Electronic structure of defect-complex in alloys, special attention to correlation of the electronic structure with mechanical properties of structural materials.

b) Dynamics evolution of defect structure and related inter-atomic potentials.

2. Multi-scale modeling and spanning-scale coupling

a) Multi-scale modeling and related algorithm. Especially for the coupling of local electronic effect with environments.

b) Physics of multi-scale modeling, special attention to the physical representation of coupling region.

c) To study and performance the analytic transmission mode of physical parameters for multi-scale modeling.
