Interests

Research is in the multi-disciplinary area of condensed matter physics theory. Special attention is paid to the electronic and phonon structure in low-dimensional semiconductor

systems and nanostructures, and the ultrafast optical process in semiconductors.

1. Physics of low-dimensional nanostructures

a Electronic structure in various low-dimensional nanostructures

such as the semiconductor quantum dots, nanotubes and clusters

b Phonon modes and electron-phonon interaction in the low-dimensional

nanostructures
