报告摘要:Several issues in current development of asteroseismology of degenerate solid stars are outlined with emphasis on node-free torsional vibrations of magnetars and magnetic white dwarfs restored by forces of elastic and magnetic stresses. The extensive review of theory of pulsating magneto-dipole radiation powered by energy of Alfven torsion vibrations of the above highly magnetized final-stage stars is presented.

报告人简介:Born 1957 in Khabarovsk region, Russia, Dr. Sergey I. Bastrukov was educated and trained at the Saratov State University and Moscow State University (Dubna), where he received his master degree in 1979, and at Bogolyubov Laboratory of Theroretical Physics, Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), Dubna, where he received his doctorate degree in 1985. He taught at Saratov State University in 1984-1993, and worked at Bogolyubov Laboratory of Theroretical Physics and Laboratory of Information Technologies, JINR as a Senior Researcher and Research Professor during 1993-2007. Currently, he is a visiting professor to Peking University. Research interests of Professor Bastrukov include continuum models of fundamental physics and astrophysics (e.g. oscillations of magnetized compact stars, physics and dynamics of interstellar medium, nuclear physics, nanomaterials and nangrains etc.). He serves as the referee for Journal of Experimental and Theoretical Physics (JETP), Journal of Physics, Astronomical Reports, Physics of Atomic Nuclei.
