固体世界中电荷的结伴同行往往标志着重要宏观量子现象的发生，比如各种超导体中的库珀对，偶数分母量子霍尔效应中的复合费米子对，激子玻色爱因斯坦凝聚中电子-空穴对等等。我们研究组近期重点关注的是高温/低维超导中的配对现象，针对铜氧/铁基高温超导的配对行为以及二维单晶薄膜中自旋轨道耦合作用下的配对，开展超导材料的转角调控和场效应下离子注入，探究超导机理等硬核物理并关注这些量子材料中的新奇演生现象。

研究组主要采用的实验手段是极低温、强磁场下的电、热输运测量（最低温度8 mK，最高磁场40 T），在样品制备中广泛地使用到了现代微纳加工和表征手段（二维材料转移堆叠、电子束曝光、离子束刻蚀、原子力显微成像等），而且在各种新兴的场效应调控技术特别是离子固体调控上有长期而成熟的积累。研究组还具备一批自主搭建的特色实验装置，如氦-3系统（300 mK）中原位双轴旋转、稀释制冷机（70-80 mK）中原位旋转、低温强磁场下微区六探针测量等。

近年来代表性工作之一是在高温超导机理研究中开展了最具挑战性的相位敏感实验，搭建了具有原子级平整界面的转角约瑟夫森结，通过系统性的测量发现该系统具有s波超导配对。这一结果挑战了铜氧化物高温超导是d波配对的主流认识，为理解高温超导机理提供了重要的新线索。相关介绍请见：

代表性工作之二为锡烯中超导电性的研究，首次在灰锡中发现了超导电性并在极低温下观测到临界磁场的反常增强行为，与合作者共同提出了第二类伊辛超导的新框架。相关介绍请见：
