The first results of Muon g-2 experiment at Fermilab confirm the long-standing discrepancy between the experimental measurements and the Standard Model predictions. The combined significance of the discrepancy is at 4.2 sigma and could lead to a new era of particle physics. This talk presents the first results and current status of the Muon g-2 experiment at Fermilab. About the speaker: 李亮教授，长期从事粒子物理实验、大科学装置及相关交叉学科研究。1999 ??年本科毕业于北京大学物理系，2005年获得美国威斯康辛大学麦迪逊分校博士学位。后在美国费米实验室和加州大学河滨分校从事顶夸克物理的相关研究，对2009年单顶夸克粒子的发现有突出贡献。2012 ??年回国在上海交大共同创建对撞机物理实验团队，带领交大团队加入缪子反常磁矩实验(Muon ??g-2)国际合作组，任合作组秘书长和离线数据分析的共同总协调人，为2021年缪子反常磁矩重大发现文章的主要作者之一。目前从事缪子反常磁矩实验、ATLAS 实验，以及基于中国本土的粒子物理实验研究。 |
