Abstract: Bulk reconstruction is an important subject in AdS/CFT that aims to reveal the underlying mechanism of the duality. In the context of subregion duality, there is a notion called the causal shadow that emerges from the entanglement wedge reconstruction proposal. It encodes deep aspects of bulk reconstruction beyond causality. In this talk, I will explain the various aspects related to causal shadow, and analyze them in perturbation theory.

Bio: Huajia Wang is currently an assistant professor at the Kavli institutde for theoretical sciences, UCAS. He obtained a bachelor degree in 2009 from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Ph.D. in 2015 from Stanford University, Department of Physics. He then did postdoctoral research at UIUC and UCSB before joining UCAS in 2020. His current researches focus on using conformal field theory to understand quantum gravity through the AdS/CFT correspondence. In particular, he is interested in exploring the deep underlying origin of the correspondence and its connection to novel aspects of quantum field theories, such as entanglement structures and chaotic properties.
