Abstract: Agents often execute complex strategies - continually adapting their reactions to input stimuli to synergize with past actions. In this talk we will discover there is a minimal energetic cost for executing a complex strategy, implying a classical agent must dissipate a certain amount of heat with each decision. We demonstrate that a quantum agent can execute the same strategy with lower energetic cost, implying that it is more energetically efficient to make decisions quantum mechanically.
