内容摘要:In this talk, I’ll introduce our recent work 2406.05838 about the interactions between cosmological first-order phase transitions (FOPT) and primordial black holes (PBH). PBHs may form before FOPT, leading to inevitable collisions between PBHs and bubble walls. We simulated for the first time the co-evolution of an expanding scalar wall passing through a black hole with full numerical relativity. This black hole-bubble wall collision yields multiple far-reaching phenomena including the PBH mass growth, gravitational wave radiations, and momentum recoil that endows PBHs with additional velocities, approximately doubling the formation rate for PBH binaries and hence strengthening the observational constraints on the PBH abundances.
报告人简介:Zi-Yan Yuwen (宇文子炎) is a PhD student of the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. And from Aug 2024 to now, he is a CSC Visiting PhD Student at Department of Physics, Stellenbosch University. His main research interests include cosmological first-order phase transitions (FOPT), gravitational wave physics and primordial black holes (PBH). Currently, he is also working on HI 21cm intensity mapping for large-scale structure and pulsar polarization array (PPA) for axion-like dark matter detection.
